I've always wanted to particpate in one of those photo challenges, and tonight I stumbled across one after clicking from one blog to the next. The one I found, is over at Edit Me Challenge.
Here is the photograph we were presented with to edit..
You can learn more about the camera photographed here, by Branson. Really cute post filled with amazing photographs of her son and Grandpa's camera.
Well without further ado.. Here is my edited version..
I played with the curves a wee bit, I increased the brightness, I turned up the vibrance to enhance and play with the fall colors already present in the photograph, I then sharpened the photo, and last but not least, I cropped the photo, so that the trees acted as a natural frame to accomplish this finished look.
I love the rich fall colors that scream "It's finally fall" at you." I love how the grass is still green and sprouts so pretty. I love how the tree bark is texture on top of texture. I also love love love the trees and grain effect in the background.
Overall this photograph was gorgeous to begin with, and I just turned the existing features up a notch. Thanks Branson!
