Hello..
We spent a gorgeous afternoon and evening at the lovely Houston Zoo seeing pretty animals with our friends today. There was Josh and Megan, great friends of Allen's.. and then our Amber, her husband Izzy and Aiden.. and of course Allwen, Scarlett and I..
I took a few photographs at the zoo, but I probably should upload those tomorrow.
Oh gosh.. Brain fart.. I just realized I missed a phone call that left a voice-mail message, and I forgot to call this person back. It was a very fancy lovely phone call, business related stuff, that I had been waiting for, and I am uber excited. Well as excited as I can be while my eyes are trying to close right now and my brain is about to shut off from overload. I'm typing this out, in hopes, that I remember to return this call tomorrow!
Last week Scarlett and I went to The Heights to visit Replay on 19th. It is this vintage shop, that I was really excited to see. I had seen and heard about it on Bleubird. They didn't open until 11:30, so by the time we actually made it in there, I was a little rushed, and just felt overwhelmed, so didn't find anything worth the penny. I did see a handful of things I already have, and in comparison, I just felt Replay on 19th was a little overpriced.
One amazing store we did stumble upon was, Thread. It is a children's consignment shop. I loved the vibe the store put off. I loved the girl that worked there (co-owns it). I loved the toys. I loved people watching the sweet people shopping there. I loved everything about it.
While there, I picked up an adorable dress for Scarlett, and a set of Ikea pots and pans. Some photos of the adorable dress..
I snapped some photographs with my tellephone..
So, if you're in the Houston area, you really have to check Thread out! It is such a lovely store, that doesn't scream second hand, but more of a second home!
Well I better go to bed.. I told Allwen I would be there in 15 minutes, and I'm pretty sure it has been a bit over 2 hours.
Love y'all,
